The intensive treatment requires periodic trips to New York, which serve as an additional expense. DMG is proud to have made a donation to the family, helping cover some of these bills.

Brittany’s experience includes time with both Feld Entertainment and Starcom MediaVest, where she trafficked campaigns and sharpened her account management and marketing skills. In her role of Media Specialist, Brittany will continue utilizing these skills for clients across DMG’s business units. She holds a major in Communications/Marketing from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, FL. Brittany resides in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.

Erica attended Loyola University’s Graduate School of Business, where she earned her Masters Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. She comes to us most recently from Tribune Digital, where she worked as a Campaign Specialist. She will leverage her education and work experience in her new role as Media Specialist for DMG’s Network team. When not at work, she enjoys skiing, golfing and cheering for the Bears and the Cubs. Erica resides in Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood.

DMG has donated 16 books to the Y-ME Gerry Weinberg Resource Library, which covers medical breast cancer information, the emotional and personal side of breast cancer, and volumes providing inspiration and comfort. These books are shipped by Y-ME free of charge to breast cancer patients all over the country to help them cope with their cancer.

DMG is also sponsoring Y-ME Revealed, a fundraising gala taking place October 29 at the River East Fine Arts Center in Chicago. DMG will also be in attendance at the event.

For September’s DMG Cares initiative, DMG is donating our time and resources to the Food Allergy Initiative (FAI). FAI is a national nonprofit organization and is the largest source of funding for food allergy research in the United States. Their goals are to fund research that seeks a cure; to improve diagnosis and treatment; to increase federal funding of food allergy research and create safer environments through advocacy; and to raise awareness through education.

Some quick facts about food allergies:

• Food allergies are responsible for 203,000 Emergency Room visits every year
• 1 in 13 U.S. children has a food allergy – on average, that’s 2 per classroom
• Even trace amounts of a food allergen can be lethal

With a Bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University, Allison is currently working toward her MBA in Integrated Marketing Communications from DePaul University. Before her tenure at Dean Media Group, Allison worked as a Senior Investigator in the Market Regulation department at CME Group. It was here that she deepened her knowledge of the financial industry, largely from a regulatory point of view. She comes to us most recently from ID Media, where she grew her financial marketing knowledge.

Allison’s role at DMG will include interfacing with clients, ensuring that campaigns are well executed and optimized, and providing strategic insight wherever needed. She resides in Chicago’s Old Town neighborhood.
